Booster 2.0
BOOSTER 2.0 increases telebehavioral care utilization among Spanish-speaking rural residents in the Brazos Valley by using a Community Health Worker (CHW) training focused on mental health and digital literacy.
The Texas Health and Human Services grant seeks to enhance the integration of patient engagement and accessibility of services through enhanced outreach efforts and increased access to Spanish-speaking services.

ePattern 2.0
The Expanding Patient Access to Telehealth through Engaging Rural Networks (ePATTERN) 2.0 project aims to expand access to Direct to Consumer (DTC) telehealth (behavioral health and primary care) services in rural regions across Texas. ePATTERN 2.0 also seeks to contribute to the evidence base for telehealth services through a comparison of telehealth and in-person behavioral health and primary care services.

TXAN eSTAR
The Texas A&M Nursing Expanding School-Based Telebehavioral Health Access and Resources (TXAN e-STAR) project aims to improve access to mental healthcare by integrating behavioral health services, via telehealth, into the College of Nursing's community-based mobile health unit for rural, underserved communities across Texas. TXAN e-STAR also seeks to contribute to the evidence base by comparing the effectiveness of telehealth vs in-person IBH services on behavioral health and primary care health outcomes.

FarmHope
FarmHope Project, in partnership with AgriLife Extension, is designed to support the mental health of agriculture producers and their families. We provide free telehealth counseling services to agricultural producers and their families in Texas.

Text-SAFE
The Text-SAFE Pilot project aims to examine the feasibility, usability, and acceptability of Text-SAFE, a text messaging program for sexual assault survivors following sexual assault forensic medical examinations (SAFEs). Text-SAFE provides 31 days of personalized, semi-automated texts with information and support about mental and physical health needs.

Past Projects and Grants
Booster
Booster was a grant from Texas Health and Human Services sought to enhance the integration of patient engagement and accessibility of services through enhanced outreach efforts and increased access to Spanish-speaking services. Additionally, this grant allowed us to expand the current impact of research and evaluation to inform community health best practices in Texas. The academic-community partnership model was used to increase the number of doctoral health service psychologists likely to practice in Texas and underserved areas.
