Randy Wells
Rev. Randy Wells, MSW
Rev. Wells is the executive director of Faith Mission in Brenham, Texas, overseeing health and social services for individuals in need. With three decades of experience, he has developed national best practices in programs supporting at-risk children, youth, and families.
He earned a Master of Social Work from Southern University in New Orleans and remains deeply engaged in community leadership. He serves on numerous boards, including the Blinn Junior College Board of Trustees. He previously held leadership positions as past chairman of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and president of the Washington County Ministerial Association.

A dedicated advocate for expanding access to care, Wells has been a steadfast partner, mentor, and friend to Dr. Carly McCord and the Telehealth Institute. His commitment to the partnership between Faith Mission and the Telehealth Institute has been instrumental in expanding telehealth services throughout Washington County. Thanks in large part to his vision and advocacy, telehealth services have expanded into the Washington County Jail, the school systems, and a program dedicated to farm and agricultural workers and their families.
Faith Mission also plays a pivotal role in the annual Telehealth Institute Driving Tour. A natural educator, he challenges students with thought provoking questions, encouraging them to think critically about sustainability in community health. He and the team showcase Faith Mission's unique model, demonstrating how their expansive programs for at-risk individuals are entirely funded through their second-hand resale shop while also teaching the importance of collaboration across a wide variety of community stakeholders.
One of his signature teachings during the tour is the "PMS Model"-Physical, Mental, and Spiritual health, which he uses to emphasize the importance of integrating spirituality into whole-person care. Faith Mission's programming is built around this holistic approach, ensuring that individuals receive support that nurtures their immediate needs and long-term well-being.
An ordained minister, Wells has dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, and serving both locally and internationally. His mission work has taken him to Kenya, Honduras, and the Bahamas. He is also the creator and host of the "Building Bridges to the Bahamas" radio broadcast.
Wells is the author of two books: The Grandmother's Rule and Few Fathers. His guiding message reflects his deep faith and purpose: "I am just a nobody, trying to tell everybody, about somebody named Jesus Christ who can save anybody."
